Chávez System-wide Students Served

Chávez currently has a total of 1,214 students enrolled at three campuses serving grades 6 – 12 for SY 2007-08. The schools primarily serve minority students from across the District of Columbia, of which the majority are African-American and Hispanic. The current student body has the following demographic characteristics:
