Applying to Cesar Chavez Charter Schools

We are accepting applications for the 2009-2010 school year. The application period will begin October 27, 2008 and end March 16, 2009. If there are more students applying than spaces available, we will conduct a public lottery on March 17, 2008. Notification letters will be mailed on March 20, 2009—no phone calls, please.

  • Chavez Capitol Hill is now accepting grades 9 and 10
  • Chavez Parkside is now accepting grades 6 through 10
  • Chavez Prep is now accepting grades 6, 7, and 8.

Please note that Chavez does not enroll students in 11th and 12th grades.

Come learn more about our campuses at one of our OPEN HOUSE events for new students and families. If you are thinking about applying or have applied already, this is a great opportunity to come learn about our program. At our open house you will have a chance to:

  • Learn about the unique Chavez curriculum
  • Learn about the academic support and extracurricular programs we offer to our students
  • Meet staff and faculty members dedicated to your education
  • Learn about the enrollment process Submit your 2009-2010 application (if you have not already done so!)
  • Light refreshments will be served.

Or, if you are a student who wants to experience a day in the life at Chavez, come to one of our SHADOW DAYS and accompany a current student, attend classes, and experience a Chavez education.
